Solar Attic Fan
A roof-mounted solar attic fan can be effective in removing excessive heat from the attic. When mounted near the peak, the solar fan forces hot air out while pulling fresh air in via eave/soffit vents. This exchange of air keeps the attic space from overheating.

In addition, these fans have speeds reaching as high as 1800 cfm (cubic feet per second) and coverage areas as high as 2500 SF per fan. What this means is that while the sun is out your solar fan is working for you to keep your electric bill down.
